Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What’s the birthday special?

A: We think you’re special! On your birthday, you can come in and enjoy 60-minutes of spa time (not massage) on us! Important: this will only be offered on your actual birthday. As a free service offering, exceptions will not be made, this includes but is not limited to personal scheduling conflicts, lack of availability due to spa capacity and/or spa closures. The one exception we do make is if you were born on July 4th or Dec 25th, because we will be closed on those same dates each year.

Q: Do I need to make reservations?

A: Spa sessions and massages are by appointment only. Availability and appointment requests can be made online through our website.

Q: Can I reserve time in the spa?

A: Yes! Spa sessions are by appointment only. You can request an appointment time online.

Q: Who can use the spa during women’s only hours?

A: We are an inclusive space and all who identify as female are welcome to use the spa during women-specific hours. Please note that these restrictions apply to guests only. We employ all genders, and as an equal opportunity employer, we do not change our employee’s schedules according to our community-specific hours.

Q: What if I don’t identify as a member of the LGBTQ community, can I still come during those hours?

A: We love our allies, but we have set aside hours specifically for those communities to hold a safe space for them. As an ally, we ask you to respect those hours and only utilize them if you identify specifically as a member of that community.

Q: How do I buy a gift card for someone?

A: If you are in town, we have gift cards for purchase at the spa. Another convenient way is to order online. You will have the option of having the gift certificate emailed to you or directly to the recipient.

Q: The website says clothing optional, is everyone naked?

A: We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe while at the Everett House. Although the majority of people choose to be naked, you are more than welcome to wear a bathing suit.

Q: Can I bring my own towel?

A: Absolutely! We also have towels and sarongs for rent if you forget yours at home or it’s just more convenient.

Q: If I add a spa session to my massage should I use it before or after my massage?

A: It really depends on your preference. We recommend using it before as it will help to warm your muscles and tissue, allowing the massage to be all the more effective, but it’s also a lovely way to end.

Q: Does spa time come with my massage?

A: Spa time is not included but can be added to your massage appointment at a discounted rate. You will want to choose “Add-On Spa time” when reserving online.

Q: Do you offer couples massage?

A: Yes! Couples massage is for those that wish to come with a companion and receive their massages in the same room. Please request two individual "couples massage" appointments with two different therapists at the same time, please add in the notes the name of the person joining you so that we can ensure that the appointments are approved together.

Q: Do you have a lost and found?

A: We hold items in our lost and found for two weeks. We do not keep certain items, such as wet items (towels, swimsuits, socks etc…).

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Spa sessions - if you notify us at least 4 hours prior to your appointment, there is no charge. Within 4 hours and you will be charged the full price of your reserved time.

Massage appointments - if you notify us more than 24 hours prior to your appointment there is no charge for a cancellation. If it is within 24 hours and the day before we will charge you 60% of the price of the massage scheduled. Same-day and no-show cancellations are charged full price. Cancellation charges are necessary to compensate our therapists for their scheduled time.
